ACT Prep Course
What is an ACT prep course?
An 8-week course designed to help students prepare for the ACT exam and maximize
their ACT exam score. Certified teachers will work with students in small groups to
practice questions like those on previous ACT exams, as well as, strategies proven to
help student gain their best score on their ACT exam.
What is the cost?
$500 per student for the 8-week course (non-Lead Christian Academy students)
$0 per student for the 8-week course (students enrolled in Lead Christian Academy)
When?
5pm – 6:15pm - Wednesday Evenings
Course outline
Week 1 – Introduction to the course, practice questions/overview from each test
Week 2 – English (practice test to be completed prior to arrival)
Week 3 – English strategies and more practice
Week 4 – Math (practice test to be completed prior to arrival)
Week 5 – Math strategies and more practice
Week 6 – Reading (practice test to be completed prior to arrival) and strategies
Week 7 – Science (practice test to be completed prior to arrival) and strategies
Week 8 – Students meet with the teacher where they may need extra practice
This schedule will be for 1-5 students. If more than 5 students are interested in the course, we will
split the students into 2 groups. One group will work on math while the other works on English.
Then switch. Then one group will work on science while the other works on reading. Then switch
